The National Governors Association’s Water Policy Learning Network hosted Water 101: Webinar for New Advisers in April 2019 to educate governors’ advisers about best practices, programs, policies and funding and financing strategies for water that are being employed all over the country and deliver actionable policy solutions to address governors’ water challenges. The webinar covers the types of policy assistance that NGA offers, gives new advisers some insight into their jobs from a veteran water policy adviser’s perspective and covers the basics of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
