The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) hosted a webinar series on converging trends in transportation electrification. Electric vehicle (EV) adoption is projected to grow significantly over the coming years as they become increasingly cost competitive with traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Continuing to encourage this transition and managing the myriad benefits and challenges of electrification will necessitate smart policy from governors and their staff. This webinar series explored how the technology has evolved, the opportunities presented by EVs, the policy tools needed to incite change and covered pressing policy questions.
