The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) hosted the ESSER Impact Showcase in partnership with the National Governors Association and the National Conference of State Legislatures. The showcase featured this webinar, State Levers for Recovery with a spotlight on Alabama. Terri Collins, Alabama State Representative and Chair of Education Policy Committee; Eric Mackey, Alabama State Superintendent of Education and Nick Moore, Education Policy Advisor for the Office of Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, shared best practices for sustainable investments. These Alabama leaders highlighted the impact of literacy and math strategies, summer reading camps and tutoring programs and the importance of continuing these programs in the future.
