NGA Discusses Top Priorities with President-Elect Trump

Washington, D.C. – National Governors Association (NGA) Chair Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Vice Chair Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt released the following statement following a call today with President-elect Donald Trump to talk about state priorities:

“Our nation’s Governors look forward to working with President-elect Trump and his administration on the issues that matter most to Governors and the states and people they serve.” 

During the call, the Governors brought up permitting reform, disaster recovery, public safety and education advancements as issues where they can work together with the incoming administration. 

“We look forward to continuing our conversations with the President-elect and his cabinet leaders at the annual NGA winter meeting in DC in February.”
